Hello Spiritual Family!
I've been away for a little while, attending to some exciting business ventures that demanded my attention. But I'm thrilled to announce that I'm back, and I've missed connecting with all of you here on my blog.
Continuing our exploration of the signs of a spiritual awakening, today we delve into a profound and transformative aspect: the Desire for Growth. This inner drive is a hallmark of spiritual awakening, guiding us toward greater understanding, personal evolution, and the unfolding of our highest potential.
Understanding the Desire for Growth
When you are in a spiritual awakening, an insatiable thirst for knowledge and self-improvement emerges. This desire for growth is not just about accumulating information; it's about a deep yearning to expand our consciousness, to evolve beyond our current limitations, and to align more closely with our true selves. It's an awakening to the infinite possibilities that life holds and a recognition of our own potential to create and transform. The way I see it is when I often find myself saying, "There's got to be more than what I see with the naked eye." I know the spiritual- nontangible- world is even greater than this constricted and limited plain-eye 3rd dimension existence. It comes to me like a feeling of "I just know there's more."
Signs of the Desire for Growth
- Eagerness to Learn: You might find yourself drawn to books, blogs, groups, courses, and experiences that expand your understanding of spirituality, personal development, and the mysteries of the universe. There's a compelling need to seek out new knowledge and wisdom.
- Pursuit of Self-Improvement: This could manifest as a commitment to personal growth practices such as meditation, yoga, journaling, or other forms of self-reflection. You might also seek out therapy, hypnosis or coaching to overcome past traumas, to develop a stronger, more resilient mindset, and to find answers that can help you understand more about yourself and, from that point (of understanding and/or compassion), change what you don't like about yourself.
- Embracing Change: Change becomes less daunting and more exciting. You begin to welcome new experiences and challenges as opportunities for growth rather than threats to your comfort zone. Everyone's timing is different, but these changes will eventually come. I always remember the phrase "success is on the other side of fear" with the changes because they can be scary many times.
- Setting Intentions and Goals: Setting intentions and goals that align with your higher purpose brings newfound clarity. You become more focused on what truly matters and are motivated to take actionable steps toward achieving these aspirations.
- Seeking Deeper Connections: Superficial relationships no longer satisfy you. Instead, you seek meaningful connections with others who inspire and challenge you to grow. You value conversations that nourish your soul and expand your perspective. I think it was in Paul Sellig's channeled book "The Book of Love and Creation" that they explain that you ascend in frequency and that as you do, you just do not resonate with old friends or people that are close as you did before. There is nothing bad or wrong about it- again, the timing is different for each of us, and those friends are in a different frequency than the one we are experiencing at that momnt.
The Path of Growth
The path of growth during a spiritual awakening involves a conscious effort to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. Here are some ways to cultivate and embrace this desire for growth:
- Mindfulness and Meditation: These practices help you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, creating space for introspection and self-discovery. Regular meditation can provide the clarity and insight needed to understand your growth needs.
- Education and Learning: Enroll in courses, attend workshops, or join study groups that align with your interests. Continuous learning keeps your mind engaged and opens up new pathways for personal and spiritual development.
- Reflective Practices: Journaling, art, and other forms of creative expression can be powerful tools for self-exploration. They allow you to process your experiences, track your progress, and set intentions for further growth.
- Physical Wellness: A healthy body supports a healthy mind and spirit. Engage in regular exercise, maintain a balanced diet, and ensure you get enough rest. Practices like yoga can also harmonize the body with the mind, fostering overall well-being.
- Community and Support: Surround yourself with a supportive community. Whether it's a spiritual group, a circle of like-minded friends, or a mentor, having a support system can provide encouragement and accountability on your growth journey.
- Embrace Challenges: View challenges as opportunities for growth. Each obstacle you encounter is a chance to develop resilience, learn new skills, and gain deeper insights into yourself and your path. Remember that we are never alone, and asking your higher self, universe, or spirit guides for help is always possible, and they are always there for us. The support groups that I mentioned before also help. In my particular case, meditation helps a lot. I get a lot of answers in that stillness of my mind, and I also find a lot of answers in books- those books spirit puts on my path to start reading, almost every time have answers for whatever is happening in my life in that moment.

It is a testament to your commitment to becoming the best version of yourself and to living a life that is rich with meaning and purpose.
